Eva Lannon is a communications professional with a strong track record and more than 20 years of experience working with government, hospitals, universities, and the private and non-profit sectors. On several assignments, Eva managed her client’s communications department to oversee the organization’s activities, staff and vendors.
She recently joined Roundtable Consulting as an Associate to provide communications expertise in support of client’s initiatives.
Prior to moving into consulting in 2010, Eva served as the Press Secretary for Ontario’s Health Minister and Deputy Premier where she honed her skills in media relations, issues management, crisis communications and government relations.
She also worked at several leading teaching hospitals and provincial associations where she led effective communications strategies in support of the organization’s advocacy, patient care, research and fundraising priorities.
In 2004, Eva co-chaired a communications committee with representation from 11 Toronto teaching hospitals and Toronto Public Health. Drawing from the lessons from SARS, the committee’s work resulted in a coordinated communications approach for responding to a potential influenza pandemic.
Eva has a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Post-diploma in Corporate Communications. She also completed a Certificate in Change Management from the Prosci Institute.
In her spare time, Eva is working towards
her Certificate in Culinary Arts at George Brown College’s School of Hospitality and volunteering in her community’s mass vaccination clinic.
